So when is the Day of Judgement?
In the aftermath of recent publicity, questions are again being asked about attempts both to predict the date of the return of Jesus and to warn people generally of an approaching day of judgement.
A special ‘talk and discussion tour’ arranged by the Christadelphian Bible Mission focussed discussion back on what the Bible says.

The intriguing subtitle of the talk: ‘What do you believe: Men’s ideas (1844, 1914, 2011) or What Jesus said?’ refers to the fact that, while many have tried to make the Bible fit their own ideas, they don’t agree with the clear teaching of Jesus. The forcing of prophecies into a particular context or working from a chosen date has led to several high-profile predictions about the return of Jesus Christ and the Judgement. When there has been no clear fulfilment, new doctrines have been developed to explain the disappointment. Well documented cases include Miller (1844), Rutherford and the Jehovah’s Witnesses (1914) and now Camping (2011). Yet still the world awaits the real fulfilment of the prophecies which we will consider and we need to be sure that we understand all God’s purpose clearly from God’s message in the Bible and especially what His Son said, not from what some other preacher might speculate or teach.
The Christadelphian congregation in Macedonia not only supplies literature and books on the real teaching of the Bible, but also arranges talks and seminars around the country. Most of these are also supported by members from other countries, especially the UK.
